Divorce Among Christians

There is high level of divorce rates in the United States, and most are said to be coming from Christians. I think the reason for the divorce rate is because people are getting married without seeking the Lord's will first. They want to go on how they feel in their hearts, but your heart can be deceiving. We must really seek God, and make sure that this is the person that we are meant to be with. After all He knows what we need in a spouse more than we do because He is the one that created us. Satan does not want any marriage to last. Everybody knows he is out to kill, steal, and destroy. You have to put God first in your life. He has to be the center of your marriage. He is the foundation that you want to build upon. If He is not the center of your relationship then it will not last. Another reason why I think marriage is such a failure is because you have to work at it. For example, if you are doing all the work in your friendship; such as, calling him or her all the time, but they never call you that much if any. Eventually, you will get tired of always having to do all the work. You will in time give up on the friendship. It takes work to be in a marriage. It is so vital for couples to communicate on how they feel. I have a friend who is thinking about getting a divorce. I asked him if he has ever told his wife some of the issues he has toward her. He told me no, well how can his wife become a better partner to him if he does not tell her what he needs. If you are married and are going through some trials, seek the Lord. He will always come through for you.

Best Friend

Last night one of my friends was texting me, and she was telling me how some of her friends was using her. She was depressed about it. I told her that really the only true friend a person has is Jesus. Yes, there are good friends out there that would do anything they could for a friend, I consider myself one of them. We are people and no one is perfect. I'm sure we have let down a friend before. Not that we intended to do it, but sometimes we get carried away with our own life troubles and when a friend needs us the most we may not be there for them like we need to be. Jesus is the greatest friend a person could ask for. He is always there to listen, and actually He loves to hear from us. We are precious to Him. Regardless how many times you keep telling your problems over and over again to Him, He still takes delight in the conversations you have with Him. I love my friends, they mean a lot to me, but they could never be the friend that Jesus is. They could never give me joy like Jesus can, nor could they give peace in my life when things are so overwhelming I don't know where to turn. Sometimes there is some things you don't want to discuss with anybody, but you can always tell Jesus cause He is going to love you regardless. He created us and knew us before we were born. Not to mention the fact that when your sick He can heal your body. How many friends do you know that can heal your body? NONE. Can you name a friend that saved you from a potential car wreck? NONE. He is so great and has done so much in my life. He had blessed me so much and continues to bless me. I love you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!
